Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National park

The driver will leave Kigali early morning to Nyungwe national park. Enjoy the countryside landscape as you drive pass different vegetation. You will have a short stop at the Ethnographic museum in Huye if this is of interest to you. This museum will give you a comprehensive history of Rwandan and you will learn about this beautiful country.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy Walk

We leave early morning for Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest at the Uwinka park headquarters. There are two main trails for chimp trekking i.e. Uwinka trail and another at Cyamudongo. After the briefing you will start the chimp trek where you are allowed 1 hour with the chimps after which you leave.

In the afternoon take a canopy walk in the forest where you will enjoy views of the forest from the canopy.
