Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara

In this 3-Day Masai Mara road Safari, you start from Kenya’s capital Nairobi. We pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel at 7:00am in the morning after breakfast and drive you to Masai Mara National Reserve. You pass through the Great Rift Valley. Masai Mara is located 260 kilometers west of Nairobi Kenya and it is the most popular National Park in Kenya due to the famous annual wildebeest’s migration from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara National Reserve is also a home to many wild animals like the popular Big-5 (Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino). You drive to Masai Mara for 4 hours to cover the 260 kilometers from Nairobi to Mombasa. You get to Masai Mara at around 11:30am morning hours. You get introduced to the park rules and regulations, and start your game viewing drives head towards your reserved camp/lodge. You get to the camp/lodge by 12:45pm noon, check-in for lunch and rest till 3:30pm. Thereafter you will leave the lodge/camp for a 2-hours game viewing drives. You do game drives till 5:30pm in the late afternoon and drive back to your reserved camp/lodge for resting. The same place where you will have your dinner and spend overnight.

Day 2: Game Drives at Masai Mara National Reserve

Very early in the morning at 6:20am, you grab a cup of coffee and drive to Mara plains for game viewing drives till 8:30am when you will drive back to the lodge for your full breakfast. After breakfast and resting, you leave with packed lunch at 10:00am for a 6-hour game viewing drive till 4:00pm in the afternoon. Thereafter you will leave the jungle and drive back to the camp/lodge for resting awaiting the third day game viewing drives. From the camp/lodge is where you will your dinner and spend overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara, later drive back to Nairobi

From Masai Mara Game Reserve, you wake up early in the morning at 7:00am and leave the camp/lodge for game drives after breakfast. You do a 3-hour game viewing drives till 10:00am. After these game drives you drive back to the lodge/camp, pack your luggage ready to leave Masai Mara National Reserve. You exit the park at 11:00am and drive back to Nairobi. You get to Nairobi at around 4:30pm in the afternoon. We drive you back to a hotel in Nairobi. Lunch will be provided.
